All applicants should meet our entry requirement. Selected applicants will be interviewed or/and assigned to an entry test.

3. Can I exempt from any paper in the HKDSE music exam if I have a certificate issued by a recognised organization?

Yes. Students may submit proof of a recognised qualification, such as ABRSM, for exemption from Paper 5 and Paper 6. The conversion of grades based on various recognised qualifications will be announced soon by Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority.

4. Do you combine class with different schools?

Yes. If you find that only a few of the students at your school would like to take HKDSE in music. We can assist in grouping students from different schools in the same district. However, we are only a middle party to make connection between schools. We do not involve in discussion making on issues referring to cost sharing, locations of classes, etc.

5. What is the responsbility of a school music teacher whose students are taking HKDSE in music?

From 2014 onward, the ensemble performance will be arranged in School-Based Assessment (SBA) format. Moderation will be taken by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority.
